WILLOW'S FOREST SCHOOL PARTIES
It's Party Time! Come and celebrate at Willow's Forest School, where we offer 2 hours of woodland fun for children aged 1-4 years old. We give our little forest folk a fun experience in a beautiful natural setting where they can play and explore with their friends and family.
We are located in a beautiful private woodlands in Lyne Village, which is near to Ottershaw, Chobham, Chertsey and Virginia Water. We provide the cake and entertainment.
Our parties are before lunchtime 0930-1130 and after nap time 1530-1730.

Who can book? Our parties are for children celebrating their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th birthday.
How many children can attend and what is the charge? We welcome a maximum of 16 accompanied children for a 2 hour "stay and play" woodland party. The fee is £200. There is the option to book additional guests.
When and how do the parties run? They run on Saturdays from 0930-1130 and 1530-1730. If you wish to book 1230-1430, please email us. We run from March to October. Our private woodlands is available to you and your guests for 2 hours. We offer you a 90 minute party and then you have the option to gather your friends for the last 30 minutes to have the cake we provide or you are welcome to bring in food from home. This is your choice. If the children would rather continue playing and exploring, this is totally fine too. If you wish an alternative day, please get in touch, as we may be able to accomodate you. info@willowsforestschool.co.uk
What does this include? Our woodland parties cost £200. A maximum of 16 children The birthday child receives a personalised wooden medal. A birthday banner is added at the entrance. All children have the option to make a natural craft to take home. A Willow Birthday cake is provided. Optional to take home, please bring a cake box to transport. A camp fire and toasted marshmallows. Our private woodlands is set, so the children can visit each activity of their choice. Woodland games set amongst nature. Each party is run by an experienced Forest School Practitioner.
What do we need to bring? A candle and cake decorations. Additional decorations if you wish. Food from home if you wish. A cake box if you do not wish to use the cake we provide. Guests will be guided to bring a drink - this is on the kit list.
What food do you provide? Our birthday cake is the shape of a fox and contains eggs, sugar, flour, cooken margarine, baking powder, lemon and a sprinkle of icing sugar. We offer regular and vegetarian marshmallows. The children can make a choice from a toasted marshmallow or a smor - which is a gooey marshmallow smashed between two biscuits. If you have guests that cannot eat our offerings, please feel free to bring an alternative.
KIT LIST GUIDELINES
We do not expect you to go out and purchase new kit for a party but we do ask that your child is dressed for an outdoor, adventure experience. Our mud kitchen is always open, so regardless of the weather the children have the most amazing time making mud pies, mud stews, muddy puddles...and so on! Pretty party dresses, sparkly shoes, shorts, t-shirts, sandals and pale coloured clothing is best to stay at home! Layers and waterproofs are ideal for a woodland party!
Layers We are in the shade, so even on a warm day the children need layers to keep warm and comfortable.
Ticks Please ensure each child is wearing loose fitted trousers and long sleeves, especially over the summer period, to avoid being in contact with ticks, which is the cause of Lymes disease. It is a great plan to brush and shake yourselves and your child at the end of the party, so you don't take any ticks home with you!
Footwear For a party, wellington boots with warm socks are fine. If you wish to join our term time or holiday camps . we would suggest your child attends in sturdy footwear, as wellington boots do not have a great grip and they are not very warm.
Water bottle As water is limited in the woodlands, please bring a drink for your child.
Nut free We are a nut free forest school. If yout child cannot eat the food that is available during the party, it is fine to bring a snack of your child's choice but we just ask that it does not contain any nuts e,g, pesto, breakfast bars, peanut butter sandwiches. T&C'S
Clothing The correct clothing is essential, so please ensure you follow our kit list. We will not accept children in shorts, t-shirts and open toed sandals, however they are very welcome to return in the correct clothing.
What is the maximum age? Our parties are for children celebrating their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th birthday. Older siblings of the birthday child are more than welcome. All children must be accompanied by a guardian / parent over the age of 18 years old.
Payment Please pay in full at the time of booking your party by using the online booking system.
How far can you book a party in advance? We release our party dates, at least 6 weeks in advance to the public. We release our party dates 8 weeks in advance to our current customers, who attend our term time classes.
Refunds / Cancellations If you decide not to attend, we will refund you 50 % of the full funds when notified upto and including 10 working days in advance. After this time, no refund will be offered, as we would have made commitments to your party. We are weather dependent, so if we have to cancel your party due to unsafe weather, we will offer you an alternative date or we will refund you the full amount. Hail stones, high winds and storms cover unsafe weather. We will notify you at the earliest opportunity. This does not happen regularly and although this is an inconvenience, safety is paramount. Thanks so much for your understanding.

Food Allergies We are a nut free Forest School. As part of the party package, we offer a birthday cake, which is homemade and contains flour, margarine, sugar, baking powder and lemon. We offer marshmallows and biscuits at the campfire. We do have vegan marshmallows if needed. If food is being brought in from home, it is down to the parents of the birthday child to ensure allergens are managed. We do not take any responsibility of food that has been purchased outside of Willow's Forest School.
Respect We do ask that all children are kind to one another and respectful to our woodlands. We would be grateful if accompanying adults refrain from using their mobile phones, especially when we are welcoming the children and cooking at the camp fire.
Photos We will not be taking any photos at your party but we would be thrilled if you could share with us, if you are happy for us to use on social media.
Screen Free We would be grateful if accompanying adults refrain from using their mobile phones, especially when we are welcoming the children and cooking at the camp fire, as we need to keep all children safe. Of course if you wish to take a few photos this is fine, but we would be very grateful if phones calls can be taken after the party. Thanks so much.
Parking There is plenty of it! You are welcome to park in the carpark opposite the Forest School gate. Please do not park, in front of the Vicar's house, as this is his private driveway. If you would prefer, you can park on the road and layby by the church and school and walk to us.
Where to find us... Holy Trinity Church, Lyne Lane, Lyne KT16 0AJ We are in a private woodlands, to the right of the church, if facing the front of the church. Park in the church carpark or park on the road or the laybys and we will see you at our entarnce in the church carpark.
Here is an example of our birthday cakes which are included in the price. If you do not wish to use at the party, please bring a cake box, so you can take home in once piece! This was our 10th birthday cake! Please bring your own candles and decorations.
